When I met Dr. Angela Olaru 10 years ago, I had slight pains in the dorsal area of my back, which would certainly have got worse over time. I also had a real imbalance between the weight being carried by my right and left feet. After my first chiropractic treatment, my condition improved considerably and those minor back pains disappeared for good. Years later, combining physiotherapy sessions with chiropractic treatment, the imbalance in my weight distribution has practically disappeared. Today, at 56, in terms of my back and balance, I am in better shape than 10 years ago! My formula is very simple, though of course everyone has their own:
– Every day when I get up, I do around 15 minutes of exercises at home. This tends to keep my muscles in shape.
– Almost every day I swim 500m backstroke. This strengthens, amongst others, the back muscles.
– Every 2 weeks I have a session with the physiotherapist which includes, amongst other things, the stretching of certain muscles related to the back, pelvis and legs.
– Every two or three months a chiropractic session puts everything back in its place.
All this combined with a healthy diet and moderate exercise at the weekends.
